A Resounding Success

The official launch of our new Forest School, led by Ms Venus, has been a resounding success, bringing hands-on outdoor learning to primary pupils during school hours and to children in the wider local community over the half-term breaks.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed immersing themselves in nature through a wide variety of interactive, outdoor activities. From gathering around the campfire for song sessions and learning the fundamentals of fire building to using real woodworking tools, our students have embraced every challenge with enthusiasm. Children have also explored their artistic sides by creating natural crafts and experimenting with traditional fabric dyeing using flora and natural objects found right on our school grounds.

Forest School provides an invaluable space for students to develop practical skills, build resilience, boost self-confidence, and foster a deep respect for the environment.

A massive thank you to Ms Venus for designing and leading such an enriching initiative—we look forward to seeing our Forest School community continue to grow and thrive!
