Breakfast Club

We currently offer Basketball in the Sports hall between 8am and 8.30 with the PE Department. We are also looking at ways that we can reintroduce the breakfast club.

Lunchtime Clubs

We offer 20 lunchtime clubs each week to pupils including ICT, Book Club, singing, science and homework catch-up.
We also provide and a host of sports activities at lunchtimes including athletics, Football and Table Tennis.

After School Clubs

Study time is offered after school by most departments and the ICT rooms are open until 4.30 each afternoon for pupils to revise and research.
There are plenty of sports activities after school including basketball, cricket, athletics and table tennis. After School clubs run from 3pm to 4pm.

Youth Clubs

We offer many activities to young people in the evening at Buxton School. Kickz, in partnership with Leyton Orient, offers football sessions every Friday between 3pm and 7pm.
Studio3Arts offers street dance tuition on Wednesdays between 5.00pm and 8pm. Chill Out Zone offers young people a space to chill out, relax and play table tennis and pool with their friends and from 4pm to 6pm on Mondays and Fridays.

Weekend Activities

Buxton School provides an exciting, fast-paced Saturday School called Excel and is open to Years 7 to 11 pupils. The project offers fun-filled sessions including video workshops, hands-on experiments and lots of games and pupils who attend are expected to make significant improvement in their learning.
Everything at Shine is free, including lunch and trips and prizes will be awarded for regular attendance.

Holiday Clubs

Buxton School offers young people a range of activities during school holidays. Please look out for information.
