- AT SCHOOL
You child has almost completed their first year in a KS4 cycle. This has seen many challenges as students were expected to mature into a GCSE student from September. Students accepted the challenge and I can confidently say that they are making great headway in terms of achieving target grades, Attainment 8 and a positive Progress 8 Score. For this, I would like to thank you for all your support that you show the school.
This booklet (see link below) is intended to provide you and your child with information on what lies ahead from the week beginning June 19th. Students will sit a GCSE style exam for all their subjects. They will be expected to follow the official government rules for exam procedure; a list of which you will find later on in this booklet.
Contained within these pages are some tips for you to help support your child laid out by subject. Teachers have chosen various ways to present this information in order to support the various learning methods of each child.
This booklet is intended to be used in conjunction with the Student Revision Session that students completed on May 12th with their tutors. A copy of this can be found on the school website for your perusal. Subjects not included will provide you with material as you visit them this evening.
Again, I would like to reiterate my gratitude for your support this year and wish your child all the success for their exams and the future.
