Research shows us that healthy breakfasts significantly improve educational outcomes for pupils, in particular in English and Science. A Children’s Food Trust study has shown that children in schools are 3 x more likely to concentrate in the classroom following healthy eating habits.

Waltham Forest Break Club Scheme
At Buxton School, we support the Waltham Forest Breakfast Club Scheme. This allows children in Reception and Year 7 to attend the Breakfast Club at a subsidised cost. To take advantage of this scheme all your school will need to do is sign you up for this reduction using a simple form, and they will keep an attendance register for all of the days that your child is at the Breakfast Club.
